This role involves analyzing inventory data, identifying trends and discrepancies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align inventory with demand. The role will generate key reports, support forecasting and planning, coordinate physical and cycle counts, and help implement corrective actions for discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Monitor inventory levels across all warehouses, kitting/line side and production.
Work with Purchasing, Logistics, and HQ & Plant Material Control to ensure inventory aligns with demand.
Create and maintain inventory reports, including turnover rates, stock aging, and stockout analysis.
Recommend adjustments to inventory policies based on performance metrics and business needs.
Assist in developing and optimizing forecasting models to support purchasing decisions.
Coordinate periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with ERP and inventory management system stakeholders to ensure accurate data flow.
Support new product launches and end-of-life product strategies with inventory planning.
Any ad-hoc tasks as per assigned by manager.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, or related supply chain role.
Preferred Skills
Proficient in Excel and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, WMS, MOM).
Knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory turnover, and cost analysis.
