This role involves independently managing MRP processes, sourcing and purchasing materials locally, and overseeing local production and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the team to build oversea operation center in Malaysia, aiming to run MRP independently, source, purchase materials locally, produce and deliver locally.
Actively participate in the Sales and Operations Planning process providing the supply status, reviewing the demand outlook, and helping to create the recommendations, then drive execution of supply plan to make sure the order delivery can meet customer request.
Response to escalation and follow up request of expenditure, coordinate with relative parties to improve on time delivery performance and customer experience.
Lead the project team to resolve any bottlenecks in delivery, monitor the process and guarantee the final results.
Work with cross functions on slow moving inventory clearance plan.
Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualifications Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in operations, project management, or process improvement roles.
Language: Fluent in both Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
Preferred Skills
Strong understanding of project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
Ability to manage budgets, timelines and resources effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Personal Qualities
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
