Job Description
Ensure optimal SMT/PCBA manufacturing processes by monitoring equipment performance, implementing improvements, and supporting new product introductions (NPI) to maximize line efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize machine/line performance (printing, placement, reflow, wave soldering, washing).
Implement process improvements to enhance yield, cycle time, and FPY (First Pass Yield).
Support NPI runs, process buy-offs, and root-cause analysis (RCCA).
Train junior technicians and collaborate with Process Engineers/Supervisors.
Maintain reflow ovens, wave solder pallets, and washing systems.
Address Top 3 defects and achieve ME KPIs.
Provide shift pass-down reports and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications Required
Certificate/Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/Mechatronics).
Experience in PCBA & SMT processes (printing, reflow, wave soldering) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with SMT equipment (Juki/Yamaha placement, solder paste inspection).
Knowledge of reflow/wave solder profile optimization.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
Basic data analysis skills for process troubleshooting.
